Shawnna, Is Aasin buried up here with us? In memorial gardens or the other one on the highway? I never got to meet him but would love to take him some flowers. BTW -- Glad you married my brother! You fit right into our crazy family. Of course, I AM Makennas favorite aunt! She tells me all the time when prompted! kisses!
I am beginning to believe that God sends these "gifts" into our lives...and that they are simply on loan for a little while. I think they are angels that change the paths of our lives forever- when we seek to follow God in spite of our pain. And now that you have shared your story with others, they are touching more lives through their spirits. Just a thought...and one that makes the pain of losing my Teagan a little easier to bear somedays. This was so well-written. I applaud you for doing it not only for you and Aasin, but all of us out here in blogworld too. I'm sure tomorrow will bring back many memories. I hope you can feel a long-distance Nitty.Gritty. hug!
